That's one of those bands that I only have that one album.

I had XTRMNTR on CD, and it was real good, but this is the only one I currently have. And, weirdly, I've never had any great interest in delving into anything else, as much as I'm sure they must have some other good stuff.

Higher Than the Sun is really the only song on this album that doesn't do it for me. But, the reprise of it near the end of the CD does more than make up for that.

There's going to be a Deluxe Box Set of Revolver dropping by the end of the year.

They should just put all of the studio tapes out, front to end.  Few of the tracks went more than a handful of takes.  Just give us everything.  But at least the acoustic "Love You To".

In the spirit of Tom Tom Club, another early 80s electro-funk group with post-punk touches.

Look at this motherfucker.  Just the first minute.  I usually don't care for "headless" basses (one of the sillier designs of the 80s, but not keytar level), but when you can spank it like this, it's easy to forgive.

Saint Vitus was another blind spot for me. I like it. Very Sabbath.

They're notable for having classic Sabbath vibes in the mid '80s and for being the odd man out on SST's otherwise punkish roster. I've only listened to that one album, but I give it a spin every now and then.

Simply Saucer is just perfect after you've eaten too much of your girlfriends microdose chocolate bar.
