Night On Earth might be Tom Waits' secret masterpiece, overlooked for being a mostly instrumental soundtrack, but right inbetween the rain and the bone and the dogs and the machine, he really lets his noirish imagination smoulder.

Not music, but I've consistently been liking what I've seen of Billy Corgan's podcast.

I've noticed with the last couple of these clips, I don't know if Youtube is pushing all music clips as "playlist" clips, which use addresses which will not embed here. All of the last three clips I posted here had such a playlist address.
So if you come across one of these, just copy the playlist address and then delete everything in the address from the ampersand (&) to the end, and this shortened address should embed normally. If there are two ampersands, delete starting with the first one. The only part of the address you should need is the "youtube.com/watch?v=" followed by about the next 10-12 characters.

I have no idea why this clip is an hour long. The track runs 3:25.

Rampop mentioned how I haven't tried to do a big write-up for Sly. It's one of those things. If I start posting memorial favorites, I'll post 3/4s the catalogue. There's plenty of stuff out there to dig into.

Likely my favorite of all the Drake records. They are all almost interchangeably good, but this has always had his best songs to my ears: River Man, Time Will Tell Me

I'm still partial to Pink Moon overall, but Bryter Later is the one I'd most like to hear in raw form, stripped of its production.
