I just got this one. Lyn Collins was a James Brown back-up singer, and this LP came out on JB's People label, with Brown listed as producer (credited as "Minister of the New New Super Heavy Funk"). That's James dueting on this track.
The rest has a few ballads, standards like "Try a Little Tenderness" and "If You Don't Know Me By Now", and not quite as much funk as I'd have liked, but it's good stuff. This is from the same album.

I watched the first twenty minutes are so, and it's looking like shit.
A lot of people don't realize what's really going on. They view life as a bunch of unconnected incidents and things. They don't realize that there's this lattice of coincidence that lays on top of everything. Give you an example; show you what I mean: suppose you're thinking about a plate of shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in looking for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.
