Aw. When her birthday was mentioned in the press a few days ago I momentarily mistook it for a death announcement and was relieved to learn otherwise. Now, four days later, here we are.

The Shining
I wonder how hard it is to get a hold of a Fairy Tale Theater box?

I must have completely missed this when it happened, but I'll just leave this here to emphasize what a piece of shit Dr. Phil is.
This more in-depth feature, from 2021, is a better note to leave her legacy on.

Person with the craziest Bingo card is having a hell of a day. Richard Simmons dead at 76. Since I don't have any point of reference, I'll just post this from that Eddie Murphy album he wants everyone to forget.

I did know that. Not sure where I first heard it, but that factoid always made me associate her with the other Ruth, Ruth Gordan from Harold & Maude.

I haven't mentioned John Mayall yet, passed away at 90. I have to admit that I was only a moderate fan, have a handful of records, and his true legacy has more to do with his excellent taste of musicianship than his own limited musical talents. But as the patron of some of the finest British blues-rock guitarists - Eric Clapton, Peter Green, Mick Taylor - and backing groups who would form such diverse bands as Fleetwood Mac and Colosseum, Mayall's place in classic rock lore is secure.

Wait. He died two years ago? I hope they didn't find him in an attic or something.
I'm pretty sure I saw No Retreat No Surrender back in the day. My brother was more into those types of fighting films.
