    I picked up another Texas band on an International Artists release from around the same time, a band called The Golden Dawn.  Very similar in style.  Let me see if I can find a clip.





    Now if only we could ride on the Red Krayola together....

    I was briefly obsessed with their second record. Then recommended it to a co-worker.

    Pretty sure they lost all faith in my opinions after that. Or that maybe assumed I was officially mentally ill.

    I not finding any of these outtakes from the Prince Diamonds and Pearls box worth a damn (and I have two more hours to sit through ) so I'm just going to go back to a trusty LP deep cut.

    A lot of people don't realize what's really going on. They view life as a bunch of unconnected incidents and things. They don't realize that there's this lattice of coincidence that lays on top of everything. Give you an example; show you what I mean: suppose you're thinking about a plate of shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in looking for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.
