There must be some kind of cosmic (joke) correlation between reading last night that Tom Morello still considers Bob Dylan as having sold out when he went electric, and seeing him this morning on YouTube playing on Howard Stern with fucking Maneskin.

I don't know about other people, but that guy has always irritated the shit out of me. A phony of nightmare proportions.

Got another of the recent Can live recordings, at Cuxhaven.  Was really surprised that it's slightly less than half and hour in length, which would be a turn off in buying the expensive vinyl set.  But musically it's still top notch, similar material, slightly better sound (although I suspect it's also an audience source) and a similar thumping sci-fi funk.
