Fuck yeah! Great entries!!! Keep 'em comin!!!

Hey JJ I can't find that version of Werewolf you scored back in the day (The copy you gave me is with my cassettes in TN) and I can't remember the artist's name. I guess the song was written by Michael Hurley but I wanna say that recording you had was Dale "Sourdough" Myres...?

That slowed–down Thriller is the fuckin' cake!
Rated X; possibly the scariest music Miles ever made?
That reminds me, we need to invite Alice Coltrane to this party, don't we...

Now, I'd better see some Goblin up in here pretty soon, before somebody starts a riot!

No, it was Michael Hurley, from his Armchair Boogie LP that I found in a Dayton pawn shop.

I wish there was a Youtube version with the single slowed to 33 1/3rd, like we used to play it, but this version is close enough.  Probably not a good sign that I can find very many of the "Solid Ghost Soul" mixtape that I made with all soul 45s slowed to 33 to give them a more spooky feel.  What was on that?  "Heard it Through the Grapevine", "Use Me", "Dancing Machine", "Time to Get Down".  Long lost tape.

Ah, both these tracks dubbed for use on the soundtrack for Murnau's Faust to good effect.

And speaking of my old VHS soundtrack dubs, let's get to the scene from Metropolis where Rotwang stalks and kidnapps Maria in the underground caverns.

Yeah there were a couple of Stevie Wonder tracks; one was "You Haven't Done Nothin.'"  Bar–Kays "Holy Ghost" wasn't on there, was it? Some Sly, maybe?
Solid Ghost Soul is lost?
By the way, folks, "Solid Ghost Soul" is the title of a mix JJ made back in the day, a collection of 45s played at 33.3 speed. Deep and funky, it was!

I know this Topic is titled Halloween 2022 but I decided to post this here anyway (it was a toss–up with "What are you listening to today").

Someone also uploaded a vinyl version of this which opens with a 30–second intro by someone doing a Peter Lorre voice.
"The tarantula was getting too big for his britches!"

The following is not the opening theme, it's from Patricia Neal's "klatu mirada nikto" scene. It's a little distracting that they posted the actual scene from the movie for the OST, but the audio is entirely music, with only a couple of brief exceptions.

I never noticed how very much that music resembles "The Map Room: Dawn" from the Raiders of the Lost Ark OST, making me wonder if there was any influence going on there:
