Since you guys don't want to share any of your secret video software tips, let's see how you feel or have been impacted by this latest assault by Google (and Facebook too, although I doubt you've used that recently) against Canadian IPs all because Google (Facebook) is upset with the new Canadian law that mandates compensation for news content.  Have you noticed any differences in your Canadian Google experience?  Will the above links even work?

Facebook is currently threatening California over a similar proposed state bill, and no doubt the other tech companies will join in if that succeeds.

This appears to be the way of the future.  These Big Tech companies seem to have been less willing to declare open war on the EU, despite their more aggressive crackdown measures, maybe because the EU has only been demanding more stringent content moderation rather than demanding compensation payments.  These Tech companies seem to prefer a one-time settlement payout over a consistent wealth-sharing for news sources.  Google's monopoly on online ad access and revenue needs to be confronted by the American congress at some point.  (Too bad Sen. Chuck Schumer's daughters work as tech lobbyists.)
