Man, I don’t know who any of these people are (except Bella Hadid).

I figured that your love of Devo would have steered you to Talking Heads by now.

(That's Tina Weymouth.)

Maria Zardoya

Her band, The Marias, are alright.  Spanish dreampop.  Have to do something about that douchebag boyfriend of hers though.

Okay, I definitely should have recognized her. What’s even worse is that I actually really like the first a Tom Tom Club album. So there’s no excuse.

Maybe it’s the hair that threw me off.

"Actually"?  That's a classic in some circles.

Actually in the sense that I have even less of an excuse for not recognizing her.

Re: Muses

Charlbi Dean Kriek - who sadly passed away this week at 32 from a sudden, and somewhat mysterious (but definitely not from a vaccine) viral infection, three months after her film, Triangle of Sadness won the Palm d'Or at Cannes.

Re: Muses

I just watched The River's Edge, and while I question the judgment of anyone who falls for Ray "Dial M For Murder" Milland, I was not immune to the charms of Debra Paget.

Re: Muses

I can't possibly fail to mention the legendary Snake Dance from The Indian's Tomb.

(Interesting story, apparently Paget had an affair with Elvis on Love Me Tender, which is both super hot and kind of creepy because, I swear, they look like siblings, and I wonder if there was some attraction in that.)

Re: Muses

They both also bear a strong resemblance to Priscilla Presley. Maybe Elvis' type was women who looked like him?

I guess Cybill Shepard was the exception.

Re: Muses

No Sanctuary trailer yet, so here's Margaret Qualley selling something.  Bags?  That horse?  I dunno.  Lovely woman.

Re: Muses

Oh my, how can I forget this one...

Doesn't hurt that she looks an awful lot like my terrifying first girlfriend, who took about twenty years off my life I'm sure, but was worth every lost day.

Katherine Waterston?  Yeah, she's great.  "Shasta".
