A couple of selections from Letterboxd friends









 

I've come across a fairly new Youtube channel recently, Serious Feather, which has over the past couple of weeks uploaded a small goldmine of film documentaries, ranging somewhere between 20-50 minutes on average.  I was originally guessing that these were simply uploads of various DVD featurettes from these films, but they appear to be original constructions, and quite superior to other types of "commentary" or analysis videos (essays, they call them) that have infested Youtube.  Worth a look, at least.

Also on the gentleman's site are videos on a broad array of films from the Coens, Hitchcock, DePalma, Coppola, Leone, etc.








And another recent documentary which is from a different channel but is also superb.
